Camden Town is burning down

Thursday, February 14th, 2008

Amy Winehouse a luat 5 premii Grammy. Dintre acestea 3 importante: Song, Record si New Artist. Ca sa citam pe cei din State: Amy cannot be with us…

Camden Town is burning down!

Disperarea vine de la faptul ca in recentul incendiu din Camden a ars si Pub-ul in care mergea la o bauturica draga de Amy.

Saraca Amy…

Dieter Rams’ 10 principles for good design:

• Good design is innovative.
• Good design makes a product useful.
• Good design is aesthetic.
• Good design helps us to understand a product.
• Good design is unobtrusive.
• Good design is honest.
• Good design is durable.
• Good design is consequent to the last detail.
• Good design is concerned with the environment.
• Good design is as little design as possible.

Si bineinteles, Guardian (copyright foto) scrie despre el.

an old woman over whom he appears to have the powers of a landlord or accommodation manager.

Iar mai apoi:

the scene continues until a loud and surreal eruption is heard.

I can’t think of another young actress quite like her at the moment. She is hard to pin down. Sometimes she seems really vulnerable, other times fearless. She is 29 and can look 10 years older or 10 years younger. She can talk earnestly about her art, then when I ask her if she is seeing anyone (she is), she says something dreamy about always being in love with something, even if she’s not in love with anyone.

Laura Bushell la BBC:

What results is shocking but never asks for pity. This is a film about cruelty, but one which channels humanity. Brilliant.

The premise might sound as bleak as a Soviet cement wall, but the film is brilliantly composed and riveting – please see it.

Iar Anthony Quinn (sic!) in Telegraph intrezareste cam putin:

Certainly it’s a gruelling experience, but there are two ways of looking at this. You could say it’s simply an indictment of an iniquitous state system that exposed its people to needless danger and misery; or you could regard it as a portrait of sisterly camaraderie at its most selfless. Greater love hath no woman than to risk all for a friend’s abortion – as will be understood once you see this remarkable film.

Cronici:

Si o concluzie ‘telectuala din TotalFilm.com:

A gruelling, naturalistic account of a backstreet abortion rooted in a grotty social context, this awards-grabber isn’t for the lily-livered. Undeniably truthful, unbearably tense, it’s a stark portrait of humanity in extremis.

Filmul e o capodopera si nu poate fi descrisa in nici un caz in 2000 de caractere.

Jurnalismul secolului 21 - I’M BACK

Wednesday, November 28th, 2007

  • Who can I connect with? (e.g. social networking, etc.)
  • Where did this happen? (e.g. Google Maps)
  • Why should I care? (e.g. personalisation, databases, how international
    events affect us)
  • When are events coming up that I need to be aware of (e.g. Calendar,
    Facebook Events)
  • What did the journalist read to write this?/What have people said about this
    article? (e.g. links, documents, Trackback)
  • How can I make a difference? (e.g. petitions, changes in personal behaviour
or consumption, automatic email to politician)
